HONBU @ HOME
OSS!
The past few months have been very difficult times.
We have seen the commitment of our members to continue to train even at home and also the success of our SKIF Together event. These have inspired us. So we are excited to announce the “Honbu @ Home” special series live on Saturdays, over the next 3 months (12 classes) from 6 June 2020 by subscription. Cost of ¥2,200 (USD$20) per month.
Your subscription will contribute to the support of the SKIF Honbu during these challenging times. It will also give you access to teaching from Honbu in your home.
We ask for your support.
Thank you!

Message from Kancho and Shuseki Shihan
Dear Family,
As the world faces a pandemic of global scale which none of us has ever seen before, COVID-19 has caused much tragedy around the globe resulting in schools, businesses and dojos to close. During this time, it's essential to follow all the guidelines of the World Health Organisation and take all necessary precautions for you and your family.
With many of the countries of the world observing some form of Isolation and Social Distancing, this can cause challenges such as depression, anxiety and various other mental issues. It is, therefore, vitally important during this time to help and support each other, lift each other's spirits and show each other that even when you are feeling down, you are not alone.
Soke Kanazawa always said the "F" in SKIF means Family and Soke created a global family. Now is the time you must come together in the true spirit of Karate-Do and help and support each. Please take the time to contact the elderly and vulnerable who are feeling very anxious during this time. Please gather supplies or anything they need so they can protect themselves.
Over the last few weeks, we have seen many dojos embracing technology by having virtual classes showing how you can practice at home. SKIF is very proud of you. We will get through this situation, we will persevere, and we will train together in the future. Please keep you and your families safe.
