SKIF International Exchange
SKIF are engaged in promoting international exchange/friendship and world peace.
2000
The 7th SKIF World Championship was held in Bali, Indonesia. SKIF presented the honorary 8th dan to H.E. Vice-President Megawati (assumed the presidency in 2001) at the championship.




2002
At the KANAZAWA CUP 2002 in Azerbaijan, SKIF presented the honorary 8th dan to H.E. President Ilham Aliyev (elected president in the same year. President Aliyev regularly attended at the KANAZAWA CUP as the Chairman of the Olympic Committee.)

2003
The 8th SKIF World Championship was held in South Africa. H.E. Vice-President Zuma attended at the championship. SKIF presented the honorary 8th dan to the Vice-President.


2007
SKIF presented the honorary 8th dan to H.E. President Klaus who was invited as a state guest at the welcoming ceremony at the Imperial Hotel organized by the Japanese government for the 50th Anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Japan and Czech Republic.



2007
The Minister of the foreign affairs of Mongolia, H.E. Ms. Oyun was invited by the foreign affairs of Japan. SKIF presented the fifth dan to the minister Oyun and she observed the demonstration by the GHQ instructors at the GHQ dojo.


2008
SKIF invited six young Mongolians to Japan by the SKIF youth International exchange Foundation. Chika Nagano from Yoron Island office (ex instructor in Mongolia and Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteer) hosted them.
2009
Six young members from Yoron Island office were sent to Mongolia for a return visit. Soke Kanazawa received the first class order of Nandick from Mongolian State Committee of Physical Culture and Sports.






2010
SKIF presented the statue of Shotokan Tiger to the honorary chairman, H.E. President Zuma for hosting the 10th KANAZAWA CUP in South Africa.
